Designed for Factory Amplifier Load Detection

Some factory audio amplifiers use load detection circuits that require a low-impedance load before enabling audio output. When a high-impedance device, such as the input section of a JL Audio FiX® digital signal processor, is connected, these factory amplifiers may mute the audio signal. The FiX-LSA-4 is designed to address this compatibility issue by presenting a sufficiently low load impedance to help enable audio output in many of these systems.

Four-Channel Load Sensing Support

The FiX-LSA-4 provides load sensing support for up to four audio channels when integrating a compatible FiX® processor with a factory head unit or amplifier. It helps maintain audio output in systems where factory amplifier load detection would otherwise cause the signal to mute.

Simple Inline Installation

Installation involves disconnecting the input connectors from the FiX® processor, inserting the FiX-LSA-4 inline, and recalibrating the processor with the adapter connected. This straightforward setup allows the adapter to work within the existing signal path.

Expandable for Systems with More Than Four Channels

If your FiX® processor receives more than four audio channels from the factory head unit or amplifier, an additional FiX-LSA-4 is required. This allows the load sensing solution to accommodate systems with additional factory audio inputs.
